Why don't people my age have any interest in politics..?

So kill yourself. It doesn't make any difference why your friend votes a certain way. You can pick one or the other and build up long intellectual arguments about why your choice is the best one. You can flip a coin or be the smartest person in the world. It all makes no difference. If you want to make a real difference make someone smile today.
