What is better - a boring but good money job, or a pleasurable work without sufficient money.?

I have a boring job which is give me ok money for ordinary living. But I want to do wood carving work which is not give money (but immense pleasure) even for suffieceint food,cloth and shelter and medicine for my 4 member family. what can I do
