Skiddish fallen Catholic?

I have been away from the Church for about 12 years, sporadically going to Church for the sake of power and majesty of the M, music and the art (Im an art major/music minor). I have had a bad experiance with my family who are Catholic and feel very skiddish about allowing myself to become once again comfortable partaking in the M etc. I was confirmed when I was younger (14) but have lost the "flame." I feel "safer" and a bit more at ease to pray to the Saints then I do to God, I do want to again feel safe and comfortable in the Church again, but I have no idea how to rekindle my love or faith again. Any ideas?
